Our Story

Roya’s World

There is something about Roya !

Born in Tehran, Iran, food has been a passion and a way of life for Roya all of her life. Having lived and worked with food for as long as she can remember, Roya has now brought her unique brand of cooking to Zug, Switzerland.

Persian Lentil Rice 

Addas Polo + Safran Chicken

Basmati rice mixed with green lentil, layered with cinnamon & safran, then topped with buttered sultana. Served with Cookclub Safran Chicken          (*Swiss chicken)

Vegan Specials

Creamy Coconut Butternut Squash & Chickpea Curry

Cooked with butternut squash, sweet potato, chickpeas, tomato, onion, garlic, ginger spices in a coconut cream & served with jeera rice.

Vegetarian Curry

Green & Red Mung Curry

Typical Indian vegetarian curry prepared with red beans, green & red Mung, ginger, chilli, garlic, fresh herbs & tomato served with basmati rice.

Soups

Pumpkin Soup

A mixture of pumpkin, carrots, sweet potato / spiced with ginger.

Another popular soup we offer is Cookclub spiced red lentil soup. 

Bio Raita

(Raita Minty Sauce)

This wonderful, classic minty sauce is made with a creamy yoghurt base / is a classic Indian dish. Different versions & toppings can complete the dish !

Moroccan Tagine

Tagine prepared with spiced meatballs 

A Moroccan speciality prepared with meatballs in a thick sauce finished with an egg & served with Cookclub couscous
